From concerts to construction, FSU is a busy place. To streamline and distribute campus information, FSU created a unified event and general announcements distribution system. The university announcements website pulls together campus updates in one place, then sends weekly emails—one to students and one to faculty and staff—highlighting the latest announcements and featured events. From notable notes to important reminders, university announcements make it easy to share and keep up with campus happenings.
Designees must have departmental approval from a dean, director, department head or vice president to be granted access to announcements.fsu.edu.

To request an Announcement account, please request this service with the following information in the case:
- Subject: Enter “University Announcements”
- Description: Provide a brief description of your request
- Use Attach a File to provide:
- Approval from your dean, director, department head or vice president designating you as a contributor for your college or department.
